What is cymatics?
Cymatics is the study of visible sound. When a plate vibrates, sand moves away from the shaking parts and settles on the still lines, making Chladni patterns.
Can I use my voice?
Yes. Sing, hum, whistle or play an instrument near your phone and the sand follows the pitch and loudness. Louder sound shakes it harder.
Do I have to use the microphone?
No. Tone mode plays a tone you choose with a slider, so you can explore every pattern without the mic.
What does Pro add?
A one-time Pro purchase adds circle and violin plates, the Aurora, Ember and Crystal styles, your own sand colour, clips up to 30 seconds in 1080p with no watermark, and full-size images.
Is my voice recorded or uploaded?
Microphone sound is never uploaded. The last few seconds are held in memory only so a clip you save can include the sound; nothing is kept unless you save a clip.
