Weaving Draft Designer is a drafting studio for shaft and treadle looms, table looms and dobby looms. Set up threading, tie-up and treadling (or a lift plan) on clear tap-to-fill grids and watch the cloth appear as you go, then see the whole draft laid out the classic way, share it as a WIF file or print it as a full-page PDF.
Free for 4 shafts, 6 treadles and 64 ends and picks. A one-time Pro unlock adds 16 shafts, 600 ends and picks, colour stripes, lift plans, WIF files and clean PDFs.

Is Weaving Draft Designer free?
Yes. Free covers 4 shafts, 6 treadles and 64 ends and picks, one colour each for warp and weft, and a watermarked PDF. A one-time Pro unlock adds up to 16 shafts and 16 treadles, up to 600 ends and picks, colour stripes, lift plans, WIF import and export, clean PDFs and all the classic drafts.
Can I open drafts from other weaving programs?
Yes. Tap the open file button on the home screen and pick a WIF file. WIF is the format most weaving programs use. Drafts within the free limits open on the free version; bigger drafts, lift plans and striped drafts need Pro. Pro can also share your drafts as WIF files.
Does it work with table looms and dobby looms?
Yes. Pro has a lift plan mode, where you choose the shafts each pick lifts instead of using a tie-up and treadling. You can switch a draft between treadles and a lift plan.
How does it show the draft?
The editor shows one grid at a time sized for your phone, with the cloth underneath. The full draft view lays it out the classic way, with threading over the cloth, tie-up in the corner and treadling down the side. Pinch to zoom and tap any cell to change it.
Where are my drafts kept?
On your phone. There is no account and no cloud sync. Share a PDF or WIF file to keep a copy somewhere else.
