Film Clapperboard is an on-phone digital film clapperboard. It works offline on your device.

Data we do not collect

• No accounts, no cloud sync, no slate history upload.
• No advertising ID.
• No camera recording and no microphone use.

Data stored on your phone

The slate fields (production, roll, scene, take, director, camera, date, and the optional frame rate, int or ext, day or night and sound roll), your Recents log of claps with any circled, no good marks and notes, your board look, clap and board settings, and the Pro flag are kept in the app's own storage on your phone. Uninstalling the app removes them.

Images and exports

When you share a slate image or export the take log, the app writes a temporary file in its cache folder and hands it to the app you pick in the share sheet. Save to Photos writes the image to Pictures/Clapperboard on your phone. Nothing is sent anywhere unless you choose to share it.

Purchases

The lifetime Pro unlock uses Google Play Billing. Purchase receipts are handled by Google; Film Clapperboard only stores a local Pro flag after a successful unlock or restore. The app's internet permission is used for Google Play Billing and to open this policy in your browser.
