Operator: Richard Ross / zarkon.co.uk

Effective: 23 October 2026

Drum Tuner reads the pitch of a drum through your phone's microphone so you can tune each lug and set the note of the head. It works offline and has no account.

Microphone

The app asks for microphone access to hear each strike. Sound is analysed in memory on your phone to work out its pitch. It is never recorded, saved, uploaded or shared.

Your drums and kits

Drum readings, kits and settings are saved on your phone only. We cannot see them. Uninstalling the app deletes them.

Pictures you share

If you share or save a picture of your readings, it goes only where you choose, such as your photos or a messaging app.

Purchases

The optional Drum Tuner Pro unlock is handled by Google Play. We do not receive your payment details. The app only checks with Google Play whether you own Pro.

Data we collect

None. Drum Tuner has no analytics and sends no personal data to us or anyone else.
