Questions
Is Calligraphy Guides free?
Yes. The Studio, Copperplate and Italic are free; free sheets carry a small line naming the app. A one-time Pro purchase adds six more hands, extra guides, page options, multi page PDFs, saved templates and clean sheets. There is no subscription.
Can I set heights in nib widths?
Yes. In broad pen mode the x-height, ascenders, descenders and capitals are set in nib widths, in half nib steps, and the sheet scales to your nib. Pilot Parallel sizes are one tap.
Will the printed sheet match my nib?
Print at 100% or actual size, not fit to page, and the heights on paper match the numbers in the app.
Does it work offline?
Yes. Sheets are made on your phone and nothing is sent anywhere.
