Privacy policy

Electrician Calculator ("the App") is a calculator for electricians who work to BS 7671 (UK) or the NEC (US). This policy explains what the App keeps on your phone and what it shares.

1. Calculations on your device

Every calculation, including the cable sizer, runs on your phone using tables built into the App. The App has no account and no analytics, and it does not send your inputs or results to us or to anyone else.

2. Data storage

The App keeps these in its own storage on your phone:

• your electrical code (NEC or BS 7671)
• theme and preferences (distance unit to start with, show calculations by default)
• results you save, with any job names you give them
• whether you own Electrician Calculator Pro, and how many free cable sizer runs you have used

Uninstalling the App deletes this data. There is no cloud sync we operate.

3. Sharing and job reports

When you tap Share, or make a PDF job report, the App hands the text or PDF to the Android share sheet. It goes only where you send it. We do not receive a copy.

4. Purchases

Electrician Calculator Pro is a one-time purchase handled by Google Play. We do not receive or store card details. The App asks Google Play whether you own Pro so it can unlock it, including after a reinstall. Google's privacy policy covers the purchase: policies.google.com/privacy.

5. Identifiers

The App does not collect device identifiers, including the advertising ID, and does not send personal data to us or to any third-party service.

6. Children

The App is made for electricians and is not directed at children.

7. Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
