When can I get it?
Digicam is not on Google Play yet. This page will link to it when it launches.
Is Digicam free?
Yes. CCD 03, Disposable, Instant, Half Frame and VHS are free for good, with photos and video at full size, sound, date stamps and borders, and no watermark. Digicam Pro unlocks everything else: pay once for Lifetime, or choose the yearly plan and cancel any time in Google Play. There are no weekly or monthly plans.
What does Pro add?
25 more cameras, including CCD 05 Night, Cyber 07, Cine 800T, Super 8, Hi8 and the 2016 phone filters, plus every camera added later. It also adds a self timer, a five photo burst, long exposure with light trails, date stamp styles and any date you like, grain, dust and light leak controls saved as presets, and applying a camera to many photos and videos from your gallery at once. Pro cameras are marked PRO, and you can try any of them live in the viewfinder before you pay.
Does the saved photo look like the viewfinder?
Yes. The same camera look runs on your phone's graphics chip for the live view, for full size photos and for video, so what you save matches what you saw.
Can I turn off the date stamp and border?
Yes, at any time. Each camera comes with its own date stamp and border, such as an orange LED date and a 35 mm film strip, and you can turn either off with one tap. Photos you bring in from your gallery get the date they were taken.
Can I use it on photos I already have?
Yes. On the free version you can bring in one photo at a time and give it a free camera. With Pro you can apply any camera to many photos and videos at once. New copies are saved and your originals stay as they were.
Will I lose Pro if I change phone?
No. Pro comes back on any phone signed in to the same Google account, on its own when the app starts, or with Restore purchase in Settings.
Does it need an account or the internet?
No account and no sign in. Photos and videos are made on your phone and saved to your gallery in DCIM/Digicam, and nothing is uploaded. The cameras work offline; the app only asks Google Play about Pro when you are online.
